The AU Special Envoy on Women, Peace and Security, Mme Bineta Diop has, since joining 2018โs โA Day in the Life of a Refugeeโ, conducted joint solidarity missions with the UN Deputy Secretary-General, Ms. Amina Mohammed in Africa to revitalize the role of women in peace, security and development, particularly in conflict zones and humanitarian settings.
